Our story

This began in friendship.

We are two women rooted in family and the meaning we make in everyday moments. In the midst of full lives, we found ourselves wanting more intention — to slow down, to savor small moments, to plant roots, and to create spaces that feel lived in and meaningful.

Hands grinding herbs and coarse salt in a dark-stone molcajete — a traditional Mexican volcanic-rock mortar — mid-gesture, pressing the pestle down on a softly lit kitchen counter.

Co-founder

[Founder one — bio forthcoming]

Carrying forward her Latina heritage, weaving tradition into the way she lives at home.

Hands tying a hand-bound wheat-and-eucalyptus bundle with natural linen twine, with a hand-embossed journal soft-focus in the background showing handwritten text.

[Founder two — bio forthcoming]

Building a shared family life with her Latino husband, blending traditions day by day.

What began as simple practices — lighting a candle, setting an intention, marking a moment — grew into something more. De Alma y Corazón is our way of offering that feeling outward.

It is shaped by the lives we're living. With bilingual touches and Latin warmth, each piece holds subtle nods to culture and connection, for anyone creating a home rooted in their own story.

The vision

Not just a product line — a growing ecosystem of objects, experiences, spaces, and practices.

All designed to help people feel more connected — to their homes, their lives, and each other.

A deep-teal wax seal freshly pressed onto natural kraft paper, bearing the sun-heart brand mark — a close-up detail showing the soft texture of the wax and the radiating rays of the impression.

Each piece is hand-finished in the studio — sealed, tied, and sent with care.

A quiet principle

Our approach to tradition.

De Alma y Corazón is influenced by family traditions and everyday rituals practiced within our own homes — especially the blending of traditions within multicultural families.

We recognize that many symbols, botanicals, colors, and gestures carry meaning across cultures and histories. When we reference these associations, we do so thoughtfully — not to replicate or instruct specific sacred practices, but to honor the ways people have long marked moments of protection, remembrance, welcome, and love.

Our offerings are not prescriptions. They are invitations — gentle prompts that allow each person to interpret meaning through their own story, ancestry, and intuition. We believe traditions are most powerful when they are lived, evolving, and personal.

How we make

The principles that guide us.

For meaning, not display

Our pieces are meant to be lived with, not styled. Beauty invites meaning, but beauty alone is not the point.

Honoring quiet ritual

Nothing shouts. Nothing begs attention. Everything invites.

Color with purpose

Color is strategic and meaningful, woven in thoughtfully — never decoration for its own sake.

We center cultural memory

Our rituals come from life — not trends. Lived traditions, remembered and shared.

Restraint over novelty

We refine before we add. What we ship has been considered, and reconsidered, until it is simple.

Protect the sacred

No kitsch. No gimmicks. No spiritual cosplay. We honor the lineage of every gesture we include.

A way to hold meaning
in the everyday.
